Co Director
Sally Spradling Stuart was born in Carthage but moved to the Greater Kansas City area at age 11. After more than 50 years away, she and her husband, Rick, are thrilled to call Carthage their home. Sally learned of Vision Carthage shortly after her move to the area in 2021. She became a volunteer and was then elected to the Board of Directors in 2023. She had a 44-year career in health care and has always been involved with several non-profit organizations.

Co Director
Kate grew up in a neighboring small town, Neosho, where she attended Crowder College before transferring to Missouri Souther State University to complete her degree in mass communications and public relations in 2018. Kate has a background in journalism and spent three years working for KOAM-TV as a reporter and weekend news anchor before transitioning to marketing for non-profits. She has experience in working with multiple sectors to create beautiful spaces and bountiful gardens in low-income housing complexes to foster a greater sense of community.
